Final Cut Pro X Tutorial: fix audio export issue!

New Project Settings:
1. Create new project (command + n or file, new project)
2. Name your project
3. Set default event (the media collection to be associated with the project)
4. Set your video properties
a. settings based on first clip (format, resolution, frame rate)
or
b. choose custom settings
*** this next step fixes the audio export issue ***
5. Audio and render properties - you need to choose "custom" and change "surround" to "stereo". This will prevent the left right audio imbalance issue!

or if you want to change the settings of an existing project..

Project Preferences:
1. In the project library, select the project
2. Go to the upper right-hand corner and view "properties"
3. Change them by clicking the Wrench in the bottom right-hand corner of that box

4. Under "Audio and Render Properties" change the "Audio Channels" from "surround" to "stereo". This will prevent the left right audio imbalance issue!
